Our time is the time of the "smart"
"Smart" devices and things quickly come into our lives making it more comfortable and interesting. Even yesterday, "smart" house was the epitome of high technology, but today it is online training, business analysis, "smart" environment, "smart" government and "smart" city that are at the top of the emerging trends discussion.
"Smart" is not just technology, it is the transformation of the social model. The intellectual capacity of the human multiplied by the power of technology and converted into Collective Reason becomes the foundation of the modern society.
Human-oriented information technologies
International Congress "SMART RUSSIA 2020"
Moscow - online, 8 December 2020
Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian Union of CIO, Expert Network EXPINET
The Main Objective of the Congress
The congress aims at considering both conceptual issues and practical implementations in the field of "smart nation" development. Under the "smart nation" we understand national effort to co-create a future of better living for all citizens through maximum use of knowledge and technology.
Key Issues for Discussion
The year 2020 will go down in human history as the year that debunked the confidence of modern civilization in its capabilities. The coronavirus pandemic has shown that humanity is far more vulnerable than many thought. But 2020 turned out to be a landmark year for information technology: everyone realized that it is not only a tool for transformation, but also a tool for protecting business and the economy in the face of quarantine measures. But to what extent is it a tool for protecting people?
Information or digital technologies are just technologies that allow you to "speed up" time and "compress" space. How we use these technologies depends on us. One of the main indicators of the development of the "mind" in society is the attitude towards people with disabilities. A backward society does not think about people with disabilities, a humane society feels sorry for them, and a smart society using technology makes such people healthy, both literally and figuratively.
The congress will be attended by around 200 representatives of federal, regional and local government, business, research and education community, civil society, experts, international organizations, mass media.
Congress activities include plenary sessions, a panel discussion, breakout sessions, poster presentations on smart government, smart education, smart city, and knowledge economy.
At plenary sessions and discussions, Russian and foreign experts will raise topical problems and consider key aspects of "smart nation" development.
Selected congress materials will be published in a special issue of the scientific and analytical journals.
